Buenas tardes. Tengo una reserva a nombre de Alex García. — ¿Para cuántas noches? — Para dos noches. Tengo una reserva means I have a reservation. A nombre de introduces the name used for the booking; para dos noches gives the length of the stay.
Check the details
¿A qué hora es el desayuno? asks what time breakfast is. ¿Está incluido? asks whether it is included. ¿A qué hora hay que dejar la habitación? asks when you must check out. Confirm the actual details with reception rather than relying on a general travel example.
Explain a problem simply
No funciona el aire acondicionado means the air conditioning is not working. No tengo agua caliente means I have no hot water. Add ¿Puede ayudarme, por favor? to request help without needing a long explanation.
Practise
Introduce a reservation under your name for three nights. Ask whether breakfast is included. Then explain that the air conditioning is not working.
