Translator privacy information
Understand text submissions, voice input, account identifiers and purchase information in the translator.
Accounts and activity
The translator processes submitted text and selected languages to produce a translation. Voice input also involves a recording and transcription. Requests can pass through the backend and external processing services; this is not an offline-only service. Guest accounts still use identifiers. Do not submit someone else’s private conversation without appropriate permission.
Speech and purchases
Voice features may send recordings to backend and speech providers. Stores and subscription services process purchase and entitlement information. Do not include sensitive personal data in a recording or translation unnecessarily.
Before public release
This overview is not the final privacy notice. The operator’s legal identity, service-provider details, retention periods and applicable rights process must be confirmed before launch. Contact us with a privacy or deletion request.
